The 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival’s (MMFF) 14-day gross (from Dec. 25, 2011 to Jan. 7, 2012) of P636,792,509.57 exceeded the P600-M target the Metro Manila Development Authority set at the start of the annual festival.
It is also 17 percent higher than that of 2010, with “Enteng ng Ina Mo” emerging as the festival’s top grosser.
This was learned from the MMFF Playdate and Sales Monitoring Committee, which has broken down the box-office rankings of each official entry as follows:

The MMFF earnings will go to the following: the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation (Mowelfund), Motion Picture Anti-Film Piracy Council Inc., Film Academy of the Philippines, Presidential Social Fund, Film Development Council of the Philippines and Optical Media Board.
