Marian: From Darna to Wonder Woman

Kapuso actress Marian Rivera, who played local comics character Darna in GMA 7’s TV remake of Mars Ravelo’s story, seems to have retired the heroine's character for good. Marian’s choice of a replacement is just as attractive and inspiring. 

She is DC Comics Wonder Woman, whose signature red and blue outfit, red boots, silver cuffs and matching gold breastplate and tiara Marian wore at a photoshoot for Digital Photographers Philippines. Jay Tablante, known for taking cosplay photos, took the actress's photos.

Other actresses who portrayed Darna are Vilma Santos, Nanette Medved and Angel Locsin.
