Marian Rivera’s ‘secret’ Christmas gift
It seems Marian Rivera has everything one can ever ask for.
When asked what gift she’d want to receive this Christmas, she said, “Nareceive ko na!”

It is anyone’s guess what this gift could be, but there’s no denying Marian is indeed blessed. She stars in the primetime soap opera “Temptation of Wife” and co-hosts “Extra Challenge”.
“Siyempre masaya (ako), kasi sa bawat ginagawa mo, pag may nakaka-appreciate sayo, parang mas lalong ginaganahan ka sa trabaho mo,” she said.

She’s particularly happy about “Temptation of Wife,” which was adapted from a Korean soap opera first aired in the country a few years ago.
“Ito, ilang beses na naulit. Pero still, nung ginawa ng Filipino, tinangkilik pa rin siya kaya sobrang happy namin,” she said.
Marian also appreciates the support she’s getting from fans outside the country. The Kapuso star has built a considerable fan base outside the country due to the syndication of her past GMA-7 shows.
“Nakakakilig,” she said of her fame in Asian countries like Singapore. “The more na sinasabi sayo ng mga tao na, ‘Oh, you look good, you’re so beautiful,’ siyempre masaya sa loob yun.”
For 2013, Marian revealed she will work on a movie with “Extra Challenge” co-host Richard Gutierrez.
There is also an upcoming comedy movie which will see her working with an actress from a competing network.
“Hindi ko pa talaga pwedeng sabihin,” Marian said of her co-star. “Pero magta-taping na ako by the 19th (of December). Baka sa 19 ma-release na siya kung sino siya.”
She also hopes her movie with Kapamilya actor Coco Martin will push through.
