Lee Jong Suk impresses with his acting in 'School 2013'

KBS 2TV Mon-Tue drama 'School 2013' is fast gaining a cult following among viewers, and actor Lee Jong Suk who is starring as student Go Nam Soon is fast become a huge attraction as the episodes progresses, with his emotional scenes whilst showing streaks of his rebellious nature.

Go Nam Soon might appear to be lackluster in everything he does but he actually has a caring heart inside of him and that has left viewers feeling moved by him. In the past episode, the revelation that he was once a hoodlum has left many viewers feeling curious about his background.

Although he often runs errands at night to earn some money, he also often heads to the police station to pick up his drunkard father. He is also considered a 'bad' student as he often sleeps during lessons in school. But despite all of that, he cares for his classmates as he covers their ears to prevent them from being hurt by spiteful words from adults, and often points out faults within the school's direction.

Go Nam Soon is different from all those rebellious students that usually appear in dramas. He lacks the proper love from his family members since he was little, and rarely shows his true feelings, leading to viewers feeling sympathy for him. He also becomes the spokesperson for his classmates, and his portrayal has led to viewers being able to identify him with someone in their lives.

In addition, Lee Jong Suk has managed to add much color to his role with his portrayal. He often appears with his clenched lips and sorrowful eyes, leaving viewers curious as to what led him to behave in this manner.

Viewers expressed, "Nam Soon's name makes me feel that he is very emotional", "I watched the drama for Nam Soon", "Lee Jong Suk's acting has really improved by leaps and bounds", "I really feel for Go Nam Soon at times during the drama".

Episode 5 of 'School 2013' will air at 10PM (KST) on December 17th.
