Lee Byung Hun says work and love are equally important

South Korea actor Lee Byung Hun was in Hong Kong on December 12th for a press conference held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, to promote his upcoming Hollywood blockbuster, 'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation'.

When asked during the press conference on how does he find time for work and love (actress Lee Min Jung), Lee Byung Hun said bashfully, "Both are equally important." He added, "It has been an event-filled year for me, and we are almost coming to the end of 2012. I have filmed Hollywood films like 'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' and 'Red 2'. 'Masquerade' has also gotten lots of love from viewers, and I have also been busy with several fan meetings, and trying to keep my earlier made promises. There are many things that have made me feel honored, and also happy moments. As an actor, you never know when you will experience a time like this again, so I am really thankful to everyone for the support."

Lee Byung Hun continued by saying, "Regardless of whether its work or my private life, it has been a really good year for me overall. Work and love are both equally important to me, and it's hard for me to choose between them. I am just grateful to have both of them."

'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' director Jon Chu who was sitting beside Lee Byung Hun then created some laughs by sayin to him, "You should have said that 'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' was the most important thing."

'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' is the sequel to 2009's 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' and talks of the elite covert special mission unit G.I. Joe under Joe Colton taking on the 'Cobra' army led by Storm Shadow (Lee Byung Hun).

The new film sees the addition of a new villain called Zartan (Arnold Vosloo). Zartan impersonates the President of the United States, framing all G.I. Joe operatives as traitors to the United States, exterminating most of them and leaving just a group of survivors. The survivors band together and seeks to fight Zartan to the death to seek revenge.

'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' is scheduled for release on March 29th, 2013 in America.
