Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson reportedly have “definite chemistry”.
The two stars are both thought to be single at the moment. Robert split from his on/off girlfriend Kristen Stewart after the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, and Jennifer and Nicholas Hoult are also rumoured to have called time on their romance.
Jennifer and Robert are apparently friends and have spent time together over awards season. It’s now been claimed they are growing close romantically.
“They’ve met a few times in Hollywood – there was definite chemistry. They will see one another again,” an insider told Heat magazine.
Work schedules are keeping the pair apart for the moment, as Robert is due to spend three months in Australia shooting his release The Rover.
It’s thought they are in no rush to get together as they know their date will be worth the wait.
“It’ll be casual, but both are looking forward to it,” the source said.
Robert and Kristen had a difficult time last year after she admitted having an affair with married film director Rupert Sanders. Rupert’s wife Liberty Ross has now filed for divorce and it’s thought the strain of the situation also became too much for Robert.
Jennifer touched upon the situation during an interview in 2012.
"I think it's heartbreaking when somebody's whole life is in the media, to the extent that she has a human moment and it is exploited like that," she said.
"There are lots of elements to fame that are scary. Me, I'm just kind of going to go with it and keep my fingers crossed!"
