Kim and Kanye ‘planning commitment ceremony’

Kanye West has reportedly arranged to stage a commitment ceremony with Kim Kardashian before their child is born.

The rapper is allegedly keen to wed the reality TV star now she is expecting his baby, but they can't officially marry until Kim's divorce from Kris Humphries is made final.

In the meantime the couple are planning to mark their union by exchanging vows and rings in front of close family and friends.

“Kanye is very traditional," a source told British newspaper The Sun. “He’d have liked to marry Kim now they are having a baby. But with Kim still married to someone else, there is not much he can do."

The ceremony will reportedly be followed by a no-expense spared party at a private beach mansion in Malibu.

Sources explained that the American power couple will have an official wedding once the divorce paperwork is finalised from Kim's 72 day marriage to US basketball player Kris.

“It won’t be official like a wedding because Kanye wants that to be extra special when the time comes," the source continued. “But they will still exchange rings - they just won’t wear them on their wedding fingers. One of Kim’s friends is lending them his £7 million Malibu beach mansion and the entire bash will take place there. It’ll be a lot more low-key than a wedding.”

It has been reported that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is considering changing her famous family name to include an acknowledgement of her chart topping beau.

Kanye will be Kim's third husband following her marriage to producer Damon Thomas and her ill-fated union with Kris. To mark her love for Kanye, the star may ask to be known as Kardashian-West.

Following their commitment ceremony, the couple are rumoured to have booked a mini-honeymoon of sorts. It has been reported that they will visit Italy for a long weekend after the event, which is allegedly where their child was conceived.
