KC gets a ‘star’ from French admirer

KC Concepcion truly got a unique gift from her French friend Pierre Emmanuel Plassart, who named a star after her.
 
“Nagbigay siya ng star. Nasa Boracay kami. We were looking at the sky. Sabi niya first time daw niyang makita ‘yung mga star sa sky sa beach dito sa Philippines. Sabi niya, ‘One of those is yours.’ Sabi ko, ‘What?’ Hindi ko maintindihan. Parang binili niya ‘yung star for me. So, may isang star diyan na nakapangalan sa akin daw and may certificate iyon, constellation kung saan naka-locate ‘yung star. First time. Never pa akong nabigyan ng star,” KC told “The Buzz” on Sunday, Sept. 9.

Although naming stars via the  International Star Registry is not official, the “X Factor Philippines” host is happy with  the  French photographer-filmmaker’s gift.

KC denied being in a relationship with Pierre, but she appreciates his effort in coming to Manila to visit her.

“Malaking bagay para sa akin na nagpunta siya dito sa bansa natin para bisitahin ako, puntahan ako kung saan ako kahit na ang layo-layo ng pinanggalingan niya.”

She adds, “Special naman 'yung mga taong tinuturing akong special. I appreciate that naman.”

KC describes Pierre as “very sweet and totoong tao.” She maintained that she is not in a hurry to get into a relationship since she is focused on her work.

“Let’s see. Hindi naman ako nagmamadali. Ito ‘yung time na gusto kong magpaka-busy sa work kasi marami pa akong gustong gawin. Marami pa akong gustong i-achieve sa trabaho.”
