Kate Hudson is a “soap-and-water girl” when it comes to her cleansing routine.
The Glee actress is famed for her stunning looks and glowing complexion.
Whereas achieving the same look would require a lot of effort from most people, the 33-year-old says her skincare routine is very low-key.
“Through dealing with all kinds of different things that I'd try, different products, seeing different facialists throughout the years, I realised my skin does not like to be stimulated,” she explained to the Huffington Post.
“I'm a soap-and-water girl, pretty much. I'll use a gentle cleanser, and I don't do any crazy serums. I just do a little moisturiser and a little eye cream. Obviously you've got to drink water and sleep - that's the hard part."
Through experimenting with skincare, it seems the star has found out exactly what works best for her.
Whereas Kate always looks glowing these days, she admits she wasn’t always so careful with her complexion.
"There have definitely been times when it hasn't been so good,” she confessed.
“I feel the older you get, the more focused you are on your skincare regime. You know, in my 20s, I probably wasn't very nice to my skin. As I got into my late 20s, I was like, ‘Oh, I should probably stay out of the sun. I should probably start doing some kinds of masks and getting more facials.’”
