Although she’s being linked to actor and “The Strangers” co-star Enchong Dee, Julia Montes said she is not yet ready for a romantic relationship.
“Hindi pa (ready for relationship). Saka na. Saka na yung stress na ganun. Stress muna sa work,” Julia told members of the press during the press conference for the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “The Strangers”on Sunday, December 9.
It was earlier reported that Enchong and Julia have already called it quits, even if the two never admitted being in a relationship. However, the actress said the “breakup” never happened.

Julia also clarified that she and Enchong were never in a relationship.
“Wala pa sa ganung point. Nasa work mode kami ngayon.”
In fact, Julia she didn’t even turn Enchong down.
“Walang ganung nangyari at walang negative na nangyari sa amin.”
Rekindling friendship
Is she open to rekindling her friendship with Enchong?
“Wala sa akin yun. Basta ako, focus ako sa work ko,” she said.
Enchong admitted in a separate interview that their relationship is no longer what it used to be. He added their busy schedule is one of the reasons for this. Julia concurs.

“Naging busy lang talaga,” she said, adding that whatever they went through did not affect their work in “The Strangers.”“Sa tingin ko naman, sa shoot, wala naming nakaapekto. Pareho naman naming ginagawa yung work naming,” she explained.
Julia added: “And wala namang tampuhan na naganap. Siguro, akala lang nila kasi tahimik lang kami. Pag nasa set kami, talagang work. Work talaga.”
As for rumors that she’s involved with “Walang Hanggan” leading man Coco Martin, Julia has this to say, “Siguro kung anuman ang nangyari sa off-cam namin, walang epekto sa aming tatlo.”
