Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola just can’t have enough of South Korea, where she recently had a stint for a TV network and a magazine shoot.
“Bumalik ako doon for a pictorial for a cover shoot for a magazine. Sobrang ganda ng Korea. Mas malamig ngayon kaysa noon,” Jessy said in an interview on “Umagang Kay Ganda” recently.
Jessy joined Korean Broadcasting System’s “World Date,” where she and other girls from various countries had a meet and greet with Key and Jonghyun, members of K-pop group Shinee.
Jessy shared that Koreans recognized her upon her return. The star of “Paraiso” even got special treatment in the hotel where they stayed.

“In-upgrade pa nila noong nalaman nila na ako. Naging comfortable na ako sa Korea,” she said.Jessy added that she wants to do more projects in Korea.
“Gusto ko pang mag-work doon. Gusto ko pang maka-trabaho ang mga Koreans doon.”
Overflowing blessings in 2012
Jessy is counting her blessings, now that 2012 is about to end.
“Sobrang saya ko kasi ang ganda ng “Paraiso,” tapos after “Paraiso,”I have a new show. So, pina-plan talaga nila. I’m very thankful for that,” she said in a separate interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG and other members of the press at Star Magic’s feeding program on Saturday, December 8.
Jessy feels good abut the positive feedback she is getting for “Paraiso,” her teleserye with Matteo Guidicelli.
“Masaya kami ni Matteo kasi ang dami naming pinagdaanan sa project na ito. Almost a year in the making. Tapos ngayon na umere na kami at maganda ang pagtanggap ng mga tao, mas ginaganahan pa kami lalo. Sobrang close na namin. Para kaming magbestfriends or magkapatid na nagbibiruan, ganyan,” she said.
On JM de Guzman
As for JM de Guzman, Jessy said they rarely see each due to their busy schedule.
“Hindi talaga ako makalabas masyado ngayon. Kahit minsan sila Matteo nagyayaya. Sobrang busy kasi namin sa work ngayon dahil Christmas na, naghahabol na. So, walang time,” she said.

Still JM remains special to Jessy.“JM is a very good person and very passionate. I think meron talaga siyang mararating sa life niya. Sana lang mas mag-focus pa siya sa work niya.”
