Jessica Chastain had to hire a stylist as her promotional schedule makes clothes shopping "not possible".
The actress wasn't keen to seek the assistance of a personal dresser but as her fame has grown she has had less time to shop for herself.
The red haired star revealed that she signed up the services of Los Angeles based stylist Elizabeth Stewart after carefully analysing which other stars she has dressed before.
"I love clothes shopping, but it's not possible when doing promotional tours," Jessica revealed to the British edition of InStyle magazine.
"I looked at the people she worked with - Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried - and each had their own style. She didn't dress them like mini versions of her."
Over the past 12 months Jessica has appeared on a string of red carpets looking amazing. The Help actress confessed that learning the ropes for premieres has been a nerve wracking process. She explained how her first high-profile appearance at The Tree of Life Cannes premiere in May 2011 left her feeling shell shocked.
"Before the red carpet, I was in the car with my best friend [actress Jess Weixler] and my eyes welled with tears," Jessica remembered. "I was thinking, 'I'm gonna throw up, I'm so nervous'."
