Jessica Biel ready for wedding

Jessica Biel is “ready” for the challenges of married life.

The actress is set to tie the knot with Justin Timberlake after getting engaged several months ago.

The 30-year-old star believes that the biggest test will be balancing her career and home life.

"I don’t think our wedding will change anything. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it will be a challenge to find a good balance between my private life, family and professional life, and I'm ready,” she told French magazine Gala.

Jessica added that being a wife will open up a whole new world for her.

The couple plan to devise their own rules for wedded bliss and Jessica insists that settling down doesn’t mean you have to feel tied down.

“For me, getting married doesn't mean you have to limit yourself to a plan already defined. On the contrary, it's an opened window to explore new stuff in life," she said.

The star also explained that while she sees children in her future, she isn’t feeling particularly broody yet.

"I don't know, I've never questioned myself about that [starting a family]. I'm someone who lets things happen naturally. I was told that after 30, a woman starts to hear the tick tock of the biological clock. I haven’t felt that sensation yet,” she explained.

Jessica also said that she won’t turn into a domestic goddess upon becoming Mrs Timberlake.

But the beauty admitted that she has been trying to brush up on her cookery skills.

"For me, nothing will really change because I'm not at home much. But when I'm home, I like to cook. I like to bake cupcakes,” she said. “I have started to spend a bit more time in the kitchen, trying to give recipes a personal touch. Sometimes it's a total disaster, but I have some good surprises too, like the courgette fritters recently."
