Jenny Syquia to Gabby Concepcion: Everything is water under the bridge

(UPDATE) After 16 years, Jenny Syquia-Skarne, a former actress, Bride Philippines editor and ex-wife of Gabby Concepcion is back in the country with Cloie Skarne, her 17-year old daughter with Gabby. Her message for her ex-hubby is simple - "everything is water under the bridge!"

Jenny reminded people that her marriage to Gabby exploded in 1994 and it's already 2012. She has moved on a long time ago and she has no regrets.

"I'm happy for Gabby and I hope he's happy for me too. I really don't have any regrets. Of course I wouldn't have Cloie if I never met Gabby. So you can never have regrets because whatever God brings your way, you will learn from them and there's a reason for everything that happens," said Jenny during the contract-signing of Cloie with Viva Artist Agency or VAA on Thursday, January 26.

She added that one thing she's thankful for is the ability to look at her past and not have any regrets.

"Because the situations, the trying times I've gone in, I've tried to do the best that I could and knowing that I tried and I gave my best in situations in the past that were hard it gives me peace of mind. So no regrets," shared Jenny smiling.

As of press time, Jenny and Cloie haven't had any contact with Gabby. In their more than a decade of living in Sweden, Gabby never had any communication with them. When Jenny was asked why, she simply pointed to her ex as the appropriate person to answer the question.

As to her reaction that Gabby is one of VAA's talents too, she wasn't surprised.

"He is a film icon so it is natural for him to be with VIVA which is the leader. So it makes sense. He is very talented and I'm sure he still is because everything you go through in life helps you become a better artist," Jenny remarked.

At the moment, it is Cloie who is stepping into the limelight and not Jenny. Her daughter inked a three-year contract with Viva. And according to Veronique del Rosario, they are planning a modeling career for Cloie which could eventually lead to acting and singing.
