Moira graduated from college while Kyla finished high school. Son Yuan just graduated from grade school. Despite her busy schedule, Janice found time to attend their graduation rites.

“Ang sarap ng feeling na nakikita mong nag-graduate sila. Kasi my mom had wished to see me to graduate from college, pero hindi ko naman nabigay sa kanila. Nag-graduate ako sa culinary school, hindi ko naman alam kung counted iyon. So, syempre, iyon pala ang gustong ma-feel ng every parent,” Janice said during the pictorial of “Showbiz Inside Report” for their first anniversary on Tuesday, April 2.

Since she and ex-husband John Estrada come from showbiz, Janice wouldn't be surprised if their children will join the industry one day. But she wants them to finish their studies first.

"I think I can’t help it if at some point ay gusto nilang pumasok sa industry. Bata pa naman sila. Ang request ko lang naman ay makagraduate sila sa school."

Now that her children are becoming young adults, Janice wants them to be as open to her as possible.

"They’re starting to grow and you realize that they’re having their own lives. Iyon ang parang malungkot kasi ngayon tini-treasure ko pa yung nakikita ko sila sa ibabaw ng kama ko, nakikipagkulitan sa akin."

Janice and John who also attended the graduation rites are civil towards each other.  And Janice shares that their children understand their situation.

"Matagal na. Non-issue na siya sa bahay namin. Hindi siya part of a bigger dramatic event. Wala na ito. Never naman akong nagtago sa mga anak ko, never akong nagsikreto sa kanila. Lahat ng bagay, klaro," she said.

Open to new love?

"Showbiz Inside Report" co-hosts Carmina Villarroel and Ogie Diaz always tease her on air about her love life,  which Janice describes as "non-existent."

"Kasi ang priorities ko are geared towards something else. Siya (love life) yung pinakaleast, kumbaga sa top 10, pang-11 siya."

Meanwhile, she added that her favorite interview as “Showbiz Inside Report” host was with Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos.

"Siguro kung wala lang siyang gagawin noon, ang dami pang pwedeng pagkwentuhan. Si Ate Vi, sobrang generous. Like what I said, kaming nag-iinterview, we're only as good as our interviewees."

The show will have a guest co-host starting Saturday, April 6, since  Joey Marquez is on leave to attend to his candidacy in the May elections.
