Jake Cuenca took to microblogging site Twitter on Tuesday, December 3, to deny pulling a prank on Anne Curtis at a bar in The Fort on November 23.

While he admitted being at the club that night, Jake said something else kept him busy.  Reports have it that Jake was with John Lloyd and Phoemela Barranda, among others.

Before Jake expressed his side, he tweeted – without directly citing the Prive incident -- that he is not the type who pulls pranks on anyone.

The “Maria Mercedes” lead actor, who is currently feeling under the weather, added that he shouldn’t be affected by something he “had nothing to do with.”

It will be recalled that  magazine editor JR Isaac told Philippine Entertainment Portal Anne was mad when she stepped out of the club toilet because  someone was banging at the door.  She asked who the culprit was, and allegedly slapped John Lloyd, JR and Leah de Guzman when she came out of the toilet.

In response to the report, Anne, without getting into details,  tweeted that “most of it is true.” She said that she apologized to all those involved and to the person “who started” the incident apologized to her too.
