Geri Halliwell "feels like a fool" over her fleeting romance with Russell Brand.
The pair were thought to have struck up a relationship after meeting again at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
Earlier this month however, Russell travelled to a hotel in Suffolk, UK, to meet with a brunette lady he told staff was his “beloved Amy”.
Geri is said to be feeling embarrassed after the famed lothario was seen out with another woman.
"Geri feels humiliated. More than anything, she's angry with herself. She refused to listen to her friends who warned her against getting with Russell and now she feels like a fool," a source told British magazine Heat.
Geri is said to be hiding her embarrassment well.
"Geri is certainly not going to act desperate. Outwardly, she wants to show everyone that this is no big deal. But she can't help but secretly cringe with embarrassment," the source added.
