Helen Mirren: Lopez is 1,000% hotter than me

Dame Helen Mirren says Jennifer Lopez is “about 1,000% more beautiful” than her, despite beating the songstress in a Body of the Year poll.

The 66-year-old British actress, who is famed for her natural beauty and elegant style, took the Best Body honours in the poll which was taken by over 2,000 members of LA Fitness gym.

Helen earned almost 18% of the votes compared to Jennifer, 42, who took nearly 8% of the tally.

Helen has remained modest about the result, and says Jennifer, who is renowned for her stunning beauty, deserved the award more than her.

"I think the voting was rigged in some way. It had to have been. JLo is about 1,000% more beautiful from the top of her head to her little toe,” she quipped in an interview with USA Today.

"I'm grateful for small mercies. I'll put it that way."

Helen also beat a bevy of other beauties in the poll. Elle ‘The Body’ Macpherson gained 10.6% of the vote, while British socialite Pippa Middleton took 4%.

Helen’s husband, filmmaker Taylor Hackford, is currently working on the film Parker with Jennifer. The Oscar-winning actress vowed to put voters of the poll to right when she next visits the set of the movie.

"When I get on set I am going to have a photo taken next to JLo to show what a terrible mistake they have made," she revealed.

"I know she will be absolutely gracious and funny about it."
