Gab, Coleen admit relationship
After months of speculation about the real score between them, Gab Valenciano and Coleen Garcia finally admitted their five-month relationship.
The sweethearts are always together, even in public. They trade sweet messages on Twitter. But Gab and Coleen never said anything until they appeared in Vice Ganda’s show, “Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV)” on Sunday, August 19.
“Magpa-five (months) na kami. Actually this is the first time na we are telling the world na kami na talaga,” Gab told Vice Ganda.
The beginning
The couple shared that they met two years ago in a Halloween party, but only became close this year when Gab guested in “It’s Showtime” as a judge.
“Nauna 'yung mutual feelings kaysa sa ligaw kasi close friends talaga kami noon. Nagkaka-developan tapos noong umamin na siya noon na may gusto siya sa akin, tapos dating na kami tsaka siya nanligaw,” Coleen said.
Gab adds that he appreciates the fact that Coleen accepts him for who he is.
“Nakita ko yung totoog tao. Sabi ko ibang klase itong babaeng ito, hindi ko kailangang sabihin na I need you, I love you. Marami akong pagkukulang but she accepts me and that's the reason bakit ako nandito ngayon.”
Can’t ask for anything more
Coleen, on the other hand, can’t ask for anything more where Gab is concerned.
“My relationship with Gab, ito 'yung walang kulang, sobrang kumpleto and iba. Kung bakit kami nagkadevelopan kasi iba 'yung tawa ko kapag kasama ko si Gab and I can be myself kapag kasama ko si Gab,” Coleen relates.
After their GGV guesting, Gab tweeted his gratitude to fans for supporting his relationship with Coleen.
“I wish I could personally thank every single person for watching #GGV last night. I am overwhelmed by the numerous tweets and positivity,” he tweeted.
He added, “In all honesty, I do not deserve a lot of things, Coleen being one of them, but what I do know is that I am trying to be better.”
