MANILA, Philippines - Actor Dingdong Dantes is more concerned on how people would appreciate his role in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "One More Try" than nabbing another Best Actor trophy as in last year's "Segunda Mano."
"Ako kasi, ang ine-aim ko lang, sana mapanood ito ng mga tao...'yung kung sino talaga ang target namin na gustong makapanood nito," he said in a report on ABS CBN News.
"One More Try" is described as an adult-themed romantic drama. Aside from Dantes, it features Angelica Panganiban, Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo.
In a separate interview, Locsin revealed that she considers her love scenes with Dantes in the movie her most "daring" yet. But Dantes somewhat downplayed the notion, describing the scenes simply as "okay."

"Magaling ang interpretation ni Direk Ruel Bayani at nandoon naman ang tiwala namin sa kanya. [But] more than daring, kumbaga, it is [all about] 'yung morality [of the characters]...nothing physical."
He added that, "Gaya nga ng sabi ko, kung anuman ang interpretation ng manonood eh, salamat."
