However her agency has officially addressed the rumors and explained her plump face is due to a swelled skin from fixing her indented scars on the face.
Several past photos of Shin Se Kyungwere brought out to compare with her recent appearance on KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Relay”, and the actress is seem to have a plumped cheek, some viewers and netizensbegan questioning as to whether the actress went under the knife during her down time.
To this rumor, Shin Se Kyung’s agency, Namooactors came forward and denied the rumors. A representative of the company stated to the media said, “She did not get plastic surgery. The changes of her face are due to a recent procedure she underwent to remove scars on her face, other than this procedure, she has not received any types of plastic surgeries.”
He continued, “There was news about her deep scars on the cheek when Shin Se Kyung was filming “Fashion King”, she had to undergone a more complicated procedure to smooth out the scars. And after the procedure, her face swelled, which is why it appeared very full.”
