Demi Moore’s daughters ‘concerned’

Demi Moore's daughters are reportedly worried they need to stage an intervention to force their mother to take control of her life.

The Hollywood icon has Rumer, 24, Scout, 21, and 18-year-old Tallulah with her ex-husband Bruce Willis. Her relationship with her children has been strained since she split from her husband Ashton Kutcher last year and sought rehab help for a suspected eating disorder and addiction issues earlier in 2012.

Demi attended the Art Basel event in Miami last week, where she played up for photographers by showing off her slim frame and dancing provocatively. She also dined with a stray cat on her lap and her kids are apparently growing worried they need to step in to get her back on track.

"Rumer, Tallulah and Scout are mortified by their mother at the moment. They are becoming ever increasingly concerned about her bizarre and outlandish behaviour. Demi just seems absolutely desperate for attention and they fear that she isn't in a good place mentally right now," an insider told RadarOnline.

"They had to hold an intervention for her earlier in the year prompting her to check into rehab for treatment and they fear the same thing is going to have to happen again. To say they are worried about her would be an understatement."

Over the summer it was reported Demi's relationship with her children was so strained they were considering taking a restraining order out to keep her away from them.

She has seemingly struggled to cope since her split from Ashton, following claims he was unfaithful on their sixth wedding anniversary.

Demi spent Thanksgiving with her daughters and it was thought they were growing close again.

"The girls are thoroughly embarrassed by Demi right now and her desperation for attention is troubling," the insider added. "They say it is very out of character for her to be behaving the way she has been and they are concerned there is some deep-rooted issue at the heart of it. And, it's not just the girls who are worried - several of Demi's friends have also said they are concerned something is seriously wrong right now."
