“American Idol” runner-up David Archuleta has proven that Filipino fans still hold him dear in their hearts.
The teen idol got held up for a few minutes at the NAIA Terminal 1 tarmac, Gate 6 at around 1:30 p.m., after his Singapore Airline flight arrived and the local ground crew posed for photos.
Archuleta is in Manila to hold another concert at Araneta Coliseum tomorrow night, July 18 .
He came with a long-haired, pony-tailed man who whisked him away from local fans mostly composed of Singapore Airlines ground crew.
Archuleta posed for local fans who were mostly ladies in uniform.
Passengers on the same flight were also surprised when the American teen idol emerged from the plane.
He was the last to come out of the plane and had only few people as entourage.
