Daniel Radcliffe hopes to “cling” on to his girlfriend for the rest of his life.
The Harry Potter star has gushed about his partner in the March edition of Glamour magazine. Daniel says his girlfriend Rosie Coker continued to amaze him the more he got to know her.
“We went on two dates. Dinner, cinema. And I spent the next year discovering this amazing, kind, funny, tolerant person,” he told the publication.
“I’m not a believer that there’s one person out there for everybody, I don’t believe in fate, but I do think that when you find somebody who you love, and who loves you, you’ve got to cling on to them and make it work. I really don’t see myself looking around much more. I don’t think I’ll ever find someone more compatible than Rosie.”
Daniel has joked about the beginnings of his romance with production assistant Rosie, who he met on the set of Harry Potter.
The 22-year-old star is aware of his misgivings as a boyfriend, but says that Rosie is just as bad at times.
“Alcohol brought us together because I would probably never have had the guts to make the first move if I hadn’t been drunk. But sobriety is what’s kept us together. It’s been an amazing year, not only having this huge personal growth through stopping drinking, but feeling a safety, comfort and happiness that I thought I would not attain again,” he said.
“And on top of that, having this wonderful person in my life who is… just as boring as me!”
