Daniel Craig: I stagger in the morning

Daniel Craig doesn’t feel like an action man in the morning and usually “staggers” out of bed.

The British actor is famous for playing tough guys such as James Bond. Despite his image as a Hollywood hardman, Daniel insists he is just like everyone else when he wakes up.

The star has denied he leaps out of bed and races off in a sports car, admitting he prefers to make a hot drink and listen to music.

“Do I get out of bed, swing down the stairs and jump into my car and drive away? No. I am like everybody else,” he told UK television show Daybreak. “I stagger downstairs, get a cup of tea, maybe switch the radio on and think about having a shower.”

Daniel wed actress Rachel Weisz earlier this year.

He is looking forward to spending his first Christmas as a married couple and insists he relishes the festive cheer around the holiday season. However, Daniel won’t have too long to relax at home before he has to return to work.

“Yes, I like to get things looking nice for Christmas, of course I do,” he added. “It is worth it for the family, it is one of those situations where even if you only have a couple of days you do it. I only have a couple of days, I am going to cram it all in.”
