Cristine Reyes continues to seek Ara Mina's forgiveness especially with Christmas fast approaching.
"Merry Christmas siyempre sa lahat and my sister [Ara]. Hindi po ako tumitigil sa pagri-reach out na maayos. My sister Heidi is communicating with her and she still doesn't want to talk to me. I think hindi pwedeng madaliin so huwag nating pilitin," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
The Kapamilya actress hopes to spend Christmas with her estranged sister "[at] hindi napuputol 'yung hope ko."
Recall that Ara sued Cristine for libel and grave coercion last April. Reports have it that the root of their dispute has something to do with the remaining balance for a house that they bought for their mother.
Although Cristine has already issued a public apology over the matter, Ara deemed it important to teach her a lesson and will only accept an apology of "genuine sincerity."
'One-Of-A-Kind' Rayver
In the same ABS-CBN News interview, Cristine clarified that she and boyfriend of two years, Rayver Cruz, are doing great notwithstanding rumors that they have broken up or are on the brink of doing so.
"Nakikita nila na minsan nagkakairitahan [kami ni Rayver]... Ako pa-cute lang na away na pinapalaki ng mga tao... Pero kay Rayver naman, sobrang good boy ni Rayver eh so alam mo 'yun, very blessed ako to have him kasi bihira ang gano'ng klaseng lalaki," she lauded.
Cristine's career, meanwhile, continues to be on the upswing. She is said to be gearing for a possible starrer on the latest TV revival of "Darna" in 2013.
