Courteney Cox: I haven’t had sex in a year

Courteney Cox has revealed that that her love life has taken a nosedive since she split with her husband David Arquette.

The Cougar Town star opened up to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show.

She said that despite rumours she was dating her co-star Josh Hopkins, she is very much still single.

“I have not had sex. It’s been about a year,” she said candidly.

But the actress rejected Howard’s assertion that maybe it was the lack of action in the bedroom department that caused their breakup.

“The truth of the matter is that we love each other so much,” Courteney said. “We have such affection for each other, but we are very different.”

“I’m a homebody. I love to have people over, but I’m a little socially… not… I don’t love it.

“David, he doesn’t drink anymore, he’s completely sober, but he likes to go out and dance. He really is a very gregarious guy. He’s very outgoing. I’m much more of an introvert.”

The former Friends star also admitted that she found it difficult meeting David’s new girlfriend, reporter Christina McLarty.

The couple co-parent their seven-year-old daughter Coco.
