Clements Ribeiro is bringing back its menswear collection for Fall/Winter 12.
Designers Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro have decided it’s the right time to create a new line for males. They were renowned for the knitwear they created in the 90s, which was worn by a host of famous faces.
To start things off the pair have created 12 sweaters made of cashmere, which all come in a range of eye-popping hues.
“It is about giving men’s knitwear a great zest of colour,” Inacio told WWD. “What we want to offer are unique sweaters in the finest Scottish cashmere, exploring the possibilities of traditional hand intarsia.”
Among the offerings are stripy knitwear in bold shades, as well as patterns in blues and reds. If that all seems too much there are also cardigans, which come in argyle.
Prices start at $550. All the designs are included in the company’s pre-fall look book, although they have been styled to suit woman so are paired with pencil dresses and chic evening dresses.
