Carmina wants simple wedding this year

After longtime partner Zoren Legaspi revealed plans to propose marriage, Carmina Villarroel said she and the father of her twins Mavvy and Cassy hope to get married this year.

“I think this is the right year, so, hopefully, God willing,” Carmina said in an  interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, August 19.

She added that they want a simple wedding, with only members of the family as guests.

We wanted it to be really, really simple. Kung puwedeng family, family lang talaga.”

Touching gesture

Zoren’s gesture, which he planned together with the twins, touched  Carmina.

In a “Showbiz Inside Report” interview, Zoren shared that he wanted to propose to Carmina under Japan’s cherry blossom trees. But he failed to buy a wedding ring because his credit card wasn’t activated.

How will marriage change their 14-year relationship?

Kung meron man, siguro mas magiging understanding, quiet,” Carmina replied.

Better relationship

Marriage, she added can make their relationship better. Carmina feels happy the twins are very much involved and excited about their wedding.

“Maganda rin yung nangyari kasi parang nagiging parte sila kung anuman yung pagpaplano, kung anuman ang excitement na nararamdaman namin as a family rin. Kaya lahat ng ito, bonding ito, lahat ito as a family.”

As for having another child after the wedding, the TV host-actress added that they leave it up to God.

“Minsan parang gusto namin.

As for her ex-husband Rustom Padilla (now BB Gandanghari), Carmina said she doesn’t need to inform him about the wedding plans since they are already officially annulled.
