Carmina to BB: Be true to yourself

Carmina Villarroel feels she is not in the right position to advise BB Gandanghari regarding his plan of having a sex change.

But she wishes BB, formerly known as Rustom Padilla, her former husband, all the happiness in the world.

Ako, I’m just so happy with my life, wala na akong mahihiling pa. Sana lang ganoon rin siya,” Carmina said during the press conference of her new Kapamilya teleserye “May Isang Pangarap” in Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan on Thursday, January 17.

Carmina also wants BB to “be true” to himself.

“Importante na you really have to be happy. Kahit anong makeup mo, kung wala kang peace of mind,” she said.

Carmina also hopes BB and his family settle any misunderstanding among them soon.

“Siyempre naman. Like what I said, I’m very happy with my life. So sana ganoon rin siya, yung pamilya niya. So sana maayos na, maybe in time.”

Adjusting to changes

Carmina shared the changes she has to undergo  after marrying longtime partner Zoren Legaspi.

Carmina said she and Zoren would be very happy if they will be blessed with another child. Her daughter Cassy wants a sister, while her twin brother Maverick is content with the way things are.

“Sa amin naman, kung darating, darating. Pero we’re not really super trying. So, kung mabiyayaan, thank you so much,” she said.

Return to primetime

After “Lorenzo’s Time,” Carmina returns to primetime with “May Isang Pangarap,” where she works with child stars again. The new teleserye features Larah Claire Sabroso and Julia Klarisse Base, who were discovered via ABS-CBN’s nationwide auditions.

Carmina sees herself in her kiddie co-stars when she was just starting in showbiz.

“Ang saya kasi very fresh.
