Big Bang′s Seungri to Release Album on Big Bang′s Seventh Anniversary (Today)
Big Bang′s Seungri will be releasing his second mini album Let′s Talk About Love today, August 19, which also turns out to be Big Bang′s seventh anniversary.
The album will be released at noon on August 19 (KST).
This day around midnight, Seungri commented online, "Many things have happened over these last seven years, but it all helped us be who we are now. I called the members before writing this, and we all congratulated each other and talked about our future. My songs to be released 12 hours from now will be even more meaningful as they will be released on Big Bang′s seventh anniversary."
YG Entertainment also celebrated the occasion with a poster showing Uranus, the seventh planet in the solar system, and a caption reading ′7 Fantastic Years′.
Seungri has been teasing toward the release of his album, most recently airing a teaser video of his promotional single Gotta Talk To U on the August 18 broadcast of SBS′ Inkigayo.
For the album, Seungri produced, lyricized and composed, writing the lyrics for all the songs in the album.
Gotta Talk To U is a house track with a quick tempo yet somewhat calm mood, and will come with a music video directed by Han Sa Min. Han Sa Min is known for his work with the music videos for Big Bang′s Blue, Bad Boy and Monster.
Let′s Talk About Love′s intro, which has the same title as the album, drew participation from fellow Big Bang member G-Dragon. He wrote the lyrics and composed the song.
Seungri will start promoting his album from August 22.
