Assumption graduate is Miss World Philippines

Twenty-three-year-old Assumption graduate Queeneerich A. Rehman of Las Pinas city was crowned Miss World Philippines at Manila Hotel, June 24. She will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18.

Her court consists of First Princess Mary Anne Ross C. Misa of Paranaque City, Second Princess Vanessa Claudine Ammann of Cebu, Third Princess April Love A. Jordan of Tondo and Fourth Princess Brenna Cassandra S. Gamboa of Batangas.

Queeneerich also received seven other major awards. Vanessa received three, while Princess April and Princess Brenna won two each.

The special awardees are: Miss Oracare, April Love Jordan; Best in Long Gown, April Love Jordan; Best in Swimwear, Queeneerich Rehman; Miss Photogenic, Queeneerich Rehman; Miss Talent, Queeneerich Rehman; Miss Friendship, Vanessa Claudine Amman; Best in Fashion Runway, Brenna Cassandra Gamboa; Miss Philippine Prudential, Queeneerich Rehman; Miss World Traveler, Queeneerich Rehman; Miss Laguna World, Vanessa Claudine Amman; Miss Manny O’ Wine, Brenna Cassandra Gamboa; Smart People's Choice, Vania Valiry Vispo; Miss Olay, Vanessa Claudine Amman; Miss Pantene, Queeneerich Rehman and Miss Amazing Beauty and Brains, Queeneerich Rehman (No.22)

The coronation night was hosted by Edu Manzano, whose co-host, Ruffa Gutierrez celebrated her birthday on the same day.
