Anne defends mom on Twitter

Anne Curtis didn’t pass up the chance to defend her mother, whom a Twitter user described as a “Pinay maid.” 

Twitter user @dudeinterrupted told Anne, “Nothing wrong with Pinay maids noh, why the shame? Love yew dahl!”
 
Anne, in turn, told @dudeinterrupted and Twitter user @Khatieness that her mother “was never a maid.” The Kapamilya star added that her mom may not come from a well-off family, but she is not embarrassed about it.

The actress posted on her Twitter account: “@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness Well hello you. We meet again. But dont worry i come in peace. Just to clarify once again my mother was never”

“@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness a maid. In fact if ever she was i would be proud and would not hide it in embarrassment at all. She may not”

“@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness have come from a well off family but she never ashamed of her roots and took all of us visit where she grew”

According to ABS-CBN News, a Twitter user called Anne’s mother a “Pinay maid” and her father an “Aussie loser guy” in November 2011.
 
While Anne said she won’t fight with the Twitter users, she made it clear that she doesn’t favor people who “disrespect” her mother. She also asked them to refrain from saying “false things.”

The Kapamilya star further tweeted: “@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness up. So you can say whatever you want. I wont fight you BUT i will clarify..She is after all my mother and i”

“@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness I dont appreciate people who disrespect her. You’d probably do the same. Anyway, Now that is clear. I hope”

“@dudeinterrupted @Khatieness you will please stop saying false things about my mother. Thank you. :)”
