Angelina Jolie has finally put an end to speculation about her latest tattoo by confirming it is a tribute to partner Brad Pitt.
The actress, who has numerous inkings all over her body, revealed that the seventh coordinate on her upper arm marks the Hollywood star’s American hometown.
The 35-year-old actress and her partner Brad Pitt are parents to twins Knox and Vivienne, two, four-year-old daughter Shiloh, and their three adopted children; boys Maddox, nine, and seven-year-old Pax and six-year-old girl Zahara. She has identical tattoos of all of her adopted and biological children’s places of birth, and the latest addition in Brad’s honour caused worldwide speculation that the Jolie-Pitts might have secretly adopted again.
"Well if they know that it's latitude and longitude they would have figured out quickly that it was Brad's birthplace," she told American publication Extra. "It's Shawnee, Oklahoma."
The actress, currently in Cannes to promote her film Kung Fu Panda 2, said that adoption is not on the couple’s agenda right now.
However, Angelina revealed that all of her children have been raised with an open mind to the subject.
"We talk very openly in our house, so 'orphanage, birth parents,' are happy words in our house, and it's not a thing," she said.
