Andi: Single but inspired

Single but inspired. That’s how Andi Eigenmann describes herself these days.

But she doesn’t want to give the name of the non-showbiz guy who inspires her.

“Secret. Basta non-showbiz,” Andi said at the press conference of her new ABS-CBN primetime drama “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” on Thursday, July 5.

Moving on

Andi adds that she has long moved on from her relationship with Albie Casino, whom she pointed out as the father of her daughter, Elle .

“I don’t know how to say it pero I don’t care. I don’t know how I can say it na hindi iisipin ng tao na naman na bitter ako at hindi pa nakaka-move on. I’ve moved on and I’ve had a boyfriend after him na. I had a boyfriend after him na. Why would I be with someone else, if I’m still in love with him?,” Andi said.

Asked how she feels now that Albie is rumored to have found a new romance, Albie’s reply was, “Good for him.”

Have they forgiven each other?

“The thing is, I don’t know. Because no one has said sorry nor asked forgiveness. Parang hindi po yata niya nalalaman na, hindi po niya inaamin kung ano yung ginagawa niya,” Andi answered.

She admitted dating Jake Ejercito, who is now in London for his studies. She said that they still communicate.

“Jake is in London studying, but we never fail to keep in touch. Nag-aaral siya habang ako nagtatrabaho. I don’t have a boyfriend, I’m still single,” Andi revealed.

She added that she doesn’t know how it is to date a showbiz guy since she and Albie became a couple before they entered the business.

“Yung relationship ko naman before, non-showbiz rin naging showbiz na lang rin bigla. So, I don’t know how it feels to be someone in showbiz. Siguro nagkataon lang po.”

Happy and excited

Andi is happy and excited for her comeback and hopes that people will continuously support her and see her dedication in acting.

“Ang tagal ko rin na hindi nakasabak sa acting. Kaya ngayon na I’m back, gutom na gutom akong umarte, magdrama. Excited rin ako na ipalabas siya. Sana yung suporta sa akin ng mga tao noong nagsisimula pa lang ako hanggang sa MLKI hanggang ngayon, sana magtuloy-tuloy pa kahit medyo matagal ako nawala. Sana mas makita rin how much more serious I am with my acting and my job.”

Andi’s co-stars in “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan” are Gabby Concepcion, Iza Calzado, and Jake Cuenca.
