Albie breaks silence on Andi’s accusations

(UPDATE) After days of letting his mother handle the media, Albie Casiño finally broke his silence about the wine-throwing incident involving him and ex-girlfrend Andi Eigenmann at a Makati bar and restaurant last Friday, May 4.

“She (Andi) grabbed me and pulled me by one hand and I was texting with the other and then I got slapped then got spilled with wine,” Albie told Korina Sanchez in a phone interview for her DZMM show, “Rated Korina.”

Albie claims he didn’t hear what Andi was saying because he was texting, and he just felt the slap on his face. He insisted that he never did anything to provoke Andi, contrary to what she told “The Buzz” host Boy Abunda on Sunday, May 6.

“Yung sinasabi niyang I was looking at her wrong or I was looking at her bad or I bumped her—that never happened,” he explained to Korina.

“Nagulat ako,” he describes how he felt when Andi threw the wine on his face. Albie tried to wipe out the wine with one hand. “Pero madami,” he recalls. So he got table napkins from the bar,  went to the bathroom to wipe his face and wash some of the liquid off his hair.

Albie says he headed straight to the parking lot instead of  arguing with Andi.

He relates that the brawl happened while he was on his way to the parking lot.

“Kung umabot kami all the way to the parking lot, walang tao,” Albie explained. The bouncers who broke up the fight were near the entrance or in the bar and not at the parking lot, he goes on.

“The first thing they did was smash the bottle on the back of my head,” Albie recalls.

When he turned around to see what was happening, Albie claims he saw  someone poised to attack him. So he tried to run and managed to get away from one guy.

“Then I see four to five men running after me, so I ran,” Albie continues.

The men caught up with him and started “stomping on me.” Albie said he covered his face while the stomping when on for about 25 seconds.

“That’s when the bouncers came in, pero ayaw pa rin magpaawat.”

As for injuries, Albie told Korina the worst one could come from getting hit on the head with a bottle. Otherwise, he’s fine.

On Frank Magalona and Carlos Concepcion

Albie admits he’s not sure whether or not Frank Magalona (son of the late Francis Magalona and his wife Pia) and Carlos Concepcion were indeed at the brawl or whether there were four or five men attacking him.

In a text message to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!, Pia categorically denied that Frank was at Fiamma when the fight erupted.

“Frank was not with the group of Andi Eigenmann nor with Neil Arce. He was at the bday event of Anika Gonzales. He never saw Albie Casino that night. These are the public statements from Frank,” Pia’s text message read.

Albie however, is sure about the other two guys present in the fight. He told Korina they were  “Lacson and Arce,” referring to Jeck-Jeck Lacson, son of former Sen. Panfilo ‘Ping” Lacson  and Neil Arce,  Maxene Magalona’s former boyfriend.

'Bawi ni Andi ‘to'

Albie also told Korina what he heard while he was pinned on the floor.

“They were screaming. Parang ‘bawi ni Andi ‘to’ or something,” he said.

He admitted that he wasn’t sure if the men who beat him up were really close to Andi.

When Korina asked if he’s going to file charges, Albie replied, “According to my parents, yes.”
