Adidas 'miCoach' for Xbox and Playstation out now in Europe
If you're looking to hone your physique just in time for the upcoming Olympic Games, you can grab Adidas miCoach for both Xbox Kinect and Playstation Move.
Top tier athletes Kaka, Dwight Howard, Jessica Ennis, Ana Ivanovic and Eric Berry lend their backing to Adidas's miCoach game suite, with over 400 exercises targeted at specific sporting activities -- and achievements all synchronized with a miCoach account.
Tapping into both consoles' motion-sensing cameras (as well as Adidas's own miCoach sensors), players can dabble in six sports, while PlayStation 3 users can also benefit from USB heart rate monitor support to keep tabs on their peak performance.
Each athlete also presents a "master class" in his or her respective sport, with a bonus master class from Real Madrid's manager José Mourinho.
Adidas miCoach is available across Europe (released July 13), priced at €39 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. US sales are expected to launch on July 24.
Also new, PlayFit is the name of the Xbox 360's new downloadable app that calculates how many calories are burned by players using motion-controlled Kinect games. Dance Central 2, Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 and even Kinect Star Wars are three of the titles that already hook into the PlayFit app.
