She's innocent and adorable, but Dannielynn Birkhead was born into the headlines.
Now, five years after losing her mom, Anna Nicole Smith, Access Hollywood is with Dannielynn and dad Larry Birkhead as she celebrates turning 6 years old.
As recent photos of the pair show already, the adorable youngster is happy, healthy and enjoying a more normal life in the Midwest, away from the bright lights of Los Angeles, but her mom is not far from their thoughts.
"I think there's so many times she looks like her mom when she looks at you and it's kind of hard... She's daddy's girl, but mommy's heart," Larry told Access Hollywood's Michelle Beadle.

Larry revealed how he handles telling his daughter about why her mom is no longer around.
"I'll say, 'Mom is in heaven,"' he explained. "'The doctors couldn't fix her and you know, one day you'll get to see her again.'
"'She's here and she's looking down,'" he added. "'She's an angel. She's watching you. You have a special mom who is an angel and she knows exactly what you're doing.'"
