2PM Nichkhun Apologizes in Written Statement to Police
On the morning of July 24, 2PM member Nichkhun caused an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Nichkhun’s incident was covered on SBS’ 8 O’clock News on July 24, revealing the scene of the accident which was captured by a nearby CCTV.
The motorcyclist was sent to the hospital, saying that his shoulder, waist, legs and ears were hurting.
Following after the accident, Nichkhun was sent to the police station for investigation on the accident.
According to SBS News, in a written statement of what happened during the accident, Nichkhun simply wrote, ‘I’m Sorry’ as his Korean writing skills were lacking.
Also on July 24, JYP Entertainment issued an official statement, explaining the ordeal and apologizing for the company’s carelessness on the matter.
Nichkhun may be summoned for more investigations by the police.
