Are Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint not really ‘Harry Potter’ pals?

We've always imagined Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint hanging out together every weekend, reminiscing about their "Harry Potter" days. Sadly, it seems the former co-stars aren't exactly the three wizard musketeers.

"There's this idea that Emma, Rupert, and myself are the best of friends who always hang out together," Radcliffe told the Sunday Mirror last weekend. "I'm just going to put out there, Emma and I text all the time but Rupert and I never text, we never see each other."

You mean Harry and his ginger-haired sidekick, Ron, aren't superduper magic best pals in real life? Say it ain't so!

But Radcliffe insists that his relationship with Grint has grown distant since they finished filming the "Harry Potter" flicks. "If I see him every six months or so, it's a friendly 'Hello, how's things with you?' But that's about it," said the 22-year-old actor, who first starred with Grint in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in 2001.

We feel as bummed out by this news as Radcliffe seems to be. But maybe Watson can channel her inner Hermione and reunite the two. No magic required -- a quick phone call to Grint would likely do the trick.
