Robin Nievera: Pops won’t pose nude

Robin Nievera, son of concert king and queen, Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez, has defended his mom after supposed nude photos of her circulated on the Web and local tabloids.

“I know it’s not true. My mom will not do anything like that. And to the guy who did it? Get a life,” The Myx VJ told the press in an interview during MYX MO! 2010 concert at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.

Earlier on, Martin had also expressed his displeasure over the publishing of the photos.

“I’ve always been mad at anybody who would abuse the beauty and the glamor of Pops. If someone is really doing that using Pops’ face and her body, I really would urge him to stop doing that and to get a life. Do something else with your time,” Martin said on ABS-CBN’s “Showbiz News Ngayon” aired recently.

SNN also sought professional advice from graphic artist Edward Lizada who confirmed that the pictures were indeed edited.

“Una sa lahat yung mukha nga at at saka yung sa akin magkaiba, mas matingkad yung sa mukha, so dun pa lang iniisip mo na kung pinatong siya. So ibig sabihin ito, false picture. Parang hindi siya totoo na si Pops Fernandez nga. Hindi talaga siya e,” Lizada explained.
