Phil chooses Bieber over Angel
Angel Locsin looked radiant in her red form fitting dress at the premiere night of her new movie "In the Name of Love" on Tuesday, May 10, at the SM Megamall Cinema 10. Blooming as she was, it seemed as if someone special, someone who might have been making Angel's eyes sparkle a little more these days was missing in action.
Yes, footballer Phil Younghusband, who recently announced he's "exclusively dating"' one of the country's sexiest female celebrities, was nowhere in sight at the premiere night. Where was he anyway?
Phil was spotted watching Justin Bieber's "My World Tour" concert along with his brother James Younghusband.
"Good night sa inyong lahat. Nag enjoy ako ng justin bieber concert kanina :) Mag ingat kayo lagi," was Phil's tweet Tuesday night.
Reports say Phil did not attend the premiere night as a sign of respect to Angel's co-stars, veteran actor Aga Muhlach and Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca. Angel's steamy love scenes in the movie may also be one of the reasons why the Kapamilya actress may have dissuaded the local football star to attend the premiere.
Before anyone draws conclusions, Phil was quick to post a tweet showing his support for Angel's new movie.
"Congrats to everyone involved in the movie 'In The Name Of Love' especially to Angel, Aga and Jake. Go watch it now if you haven't seen it :)"
"In the Name of Love," written by Enrico Santos and directed by Olivia Lamasan is Star Cinema's special offering for the production's 18th anniversary. The movie will be having two international premiere screening: May 28 at the Alex theatre Los Angeles and May 29 at the Fox Theatre San Francisco. "In the Name of Love" is now open in theaters nationwide.
