Arci mistaken as Miley?
Do you think Arci Munoz looks like Miley Cyrus?
For some, apparently yes. Last Saturday, Arci was mobbed by concert goers after the Miley Cyrus Gypsy Heart World Tour Live in Manila concert. The shrieking fans thought Arci was Miley.
"Hindi ko alam. Nagulat din ako. Yung mga friends kong bouncer siguro dahil din dun kasi ang daming bouncer na nakapaligid sa akin. Pauwi na ako iniinterview na ako grabe, grabe talaga pero nakakatuwa," Arci told Yahoo! OMG! Philippines and some members of the press after the first live episode of "Hey! It's Saberday."
The 22-year-old actress added that she had to run to a nearby restaurant since the crowd was getting a bit rowdy.
"Tumatakbo ako hinahabol ako ng mga tao. Nakakatuwa. Nagtago ako sa isang restaurant... Nakapila sila nagpapapicture," she said.
But eventually the fans realized it was Arci or "Dahlia" from TV5's "Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak."
"Nakakatuwa na nakilala ako na Dahlia. Marami pala nanonood ng show namin, eh kahapon (June 17) di ba yun ang last day," she revealed.
A dream postponed
Aside from being an actress, Arci is serious about pursuing her dream to become a beauty queen.
"Gusto ko, kaya lang may contract ako sa TV5. Actually marami akong maga-gain kung sasali ako eh yun naman talaga ang gusto ko. Gusto ko ma experience ko yun at hindi ako magreregret at tanungin yung sarili ko na ba't hindi ko ginawa? Ayoko yung mga what ifs. Gusto ko siya i-try. Bata pa lang ako ang dami ko ng plano sa buhay. Habang bata ka, habang may chance, i-grab mo lang ng i-grab," she said.
Arci maintained show business is her top priority but since she's not getting any younger and the age limit based from the Binibining Pilipinas website is 25 years old, the aspiring beauty queen is thinking really hard.
"Priority ko talaga showbiz pero if it's God's will. Everything happens for a reason. Bahala na. Basta ako, kung ano man ang mangyari pray na lang ako kasi para hindi rin naman ako manghinayang. Hindi na rin kasi ako bata. 22 na ako eh. Three years ang kontrata ko sa TV5. I can't wait till then."
"Kung payagan ako ng TV5, I'll really work hard for that," she said.
