Wonder Girls release hot MV teaser for comeback

K-Pop girl group Wonder Girls, (Link: http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/blogs/okpop/wonder-girls-prepare-korean-comeback-110624795.html), largely credited for helping jumpstart the Korean Hallyu wave with its hit 2009 single, "Nobody," has released an MV teaser in anticipation of the release of its comeback Korean album. This is the Wonder Girls' first full-length release since 2007's "The Wonder Years" and its first Korean release since 2010's "2 Different Tears."

Korean and international Wonderfuls - as the Wonder Girls' fans are known - have been going crazy since the official release of the MV teaser on YouTube last October 31. The MV teaser, woefully titled "Wonder Girls_2nd Album_ TEASER_1," is everything its dull and lifeless name isn't: it's fierce, it's trendy, it's contemporary, and if comments on the YouTube video are any indication, it may be just what the Wonder Girls need to get back into radio's good graces.

JYP Entertainment, the Wonder Girls' record label, has certainly pulled out all the stops to ensure their resident star girl group gets the kind of billing that it had at the peak of its powers in 2009. If the feel of "Nobody" and "2 Different Tears" was retro and pop-oriented, this MV teaser will have fans drooling in anticipation of everything that the Wonder Girls are capable of doing. The MV teaser itself shows Sunye, Yubin, Yeeun, Sohee, and Hyerim in a dimly lit room, each wearing dark makeup and leather outfits that showcase each member's unique charms. The song itself is updated, although the auto-tune leaves much to be desired, the electronica sound is very much current. I just looove the En Vogue-like feel of the track.
