K-Pop lovers know that it is not just the music that make K-Pop great. It is also the look and not look is complete without an eye-catching hairstyle. K-Pop fans often imitate the cool, fearless, and at times crazy K-Pop hairstyles their favorite stars wear. Here are some of the craziest and coolest hairstyles that came out of the K-Pop world.

Sandara Park (2NE1)

Sandara Park of 2NE1 is well-known for her trend-setting hairstyles. Her most popular hit is the byeomeori hairstyle which she sported as early as her debut days. The byeomeori hairstyle involves braiding the hair and styling it on top in a rising fashion. Sandara Park, also known as Dara, has made this her signature hairstyle and has since sported various redefined versions of this gravity defying hairstyle.

Taeyang, G-Dragon and T.O.P. (Big Bang)

The members of Big Bang with special mention to Taeyang, T.O.P., and G-Dragon have proven that they are unafraid of bold hair transformations. Since their debut in 2006, these guys have cut and dyed their hair to iconic styles copied by many. Taeyang who debuted with cornrows has redefined the mohawk while G-Dragon and T.O.P. have colored their hair to outrageous proportions yet somehow it worked!

Key (SHINee)

SHINee's Key is one K-Pop idol who is unafraid of going overboard with his hairstyles. From cut to color, this fashionable idol is unafraid to experiment with his hair. During the release of SHINee's single "Lucifer," Key came out sporting one of the most shocking hairstyles in K-Pop history--the half-shaven style. As if the cut is not enough to shock, Key dyed the half-shaven part blond! Well, this fearlessness is not a surprise to his fans since he has supported rainbow colored haircuts in the past.

Song Jieun (Secret)

Song Jieun of K-Pop girl group Secret released a solo single early this year entitled "Going Crazy". Her blue hairstyle seems to illustrate the title of her solo track. Even with this crazy hairstyle, Song Jieun's beautiful singing voice still won the hearts of K-Pop fans everywhere. Like the blue hair or not, you gotta hand it to her--she's adventurous!

Teen Top

Teen Top, a relatively new idol group managed by Shinhwa's Andy, released their song "Supa Luv" early this year and their hairstyles cannot be crazier. The boys sported matching platinum blond bob cuts and psychedelic colored hair for the album's concept. It is like crazy hair multiplied by six!

Sunny

(Girls' Generation)

Finally, this hairstyle is probably the most popular K-Pop hairstyle this year. It is not exactly crazy but for Girls' Generation's Sunny, it may as well be. Sunny, known for her "cute" image underwent an image metamorphosis when she stepped out in a sexy bob haircut for "The Boys". This hairstyle created such a stir when fans discovered that the original "cut" was a wig. Sunny has since heeded her fans' requests and cut her hair short.
