Black Eyed Peas returns to Manila in October
After wrapping up their successful "The Beginning" tour, multi-Grammy Award winning hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas returns to Manila for a one-night only concert on October 25 at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
The Black Eyed Peas, composed of will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie, are set to perform their hits "Boom, Boom Pow," "Don't Stop the Party," "The Dirty Bit," and "I Gotta Feeling."
With disbandment rumors in the air, the band addressed the issue clarifying that they had only gone on a short hiatus focusing on individual projects.
"No, we're not breaking up. We always have a cycle where we take a break and pursue our individual projects. We'll never break up. Black Eyed Peas is a friendship that can never be broken," apl.de.ap told Yahoo! Philippines OMG! in a visit last August.
Even before their upcoming concert in Manila was formally announced, apl.de.ap already told the press that Black Eyed Peas is definitely coming back to the country.
"We'll have a show in the Philippines on October. And then we'll take a break after November. And we're not breaking up and I'm gonna pursue my solo projects," apl.de.ap added.
Since 2004, Black Eyed Peas had six tours and have performed in hundreds of sold-out shows and concerts. Their recent tours are 'The E.N.D World Tour' in 2009 to 2010 and 'The Beginning Massive Stadium Tour' in 2011.
Black Eyed Peas' Manila concert to be produced by Futuretainment and Music Management International will be giving fans a special treat with their early bird promo. Those who will purchase their tickets from September 1-10 will get a 20% discount.
