The youth of today may find them outdated and less lucky for not having experienced a technology-powered lifestyle during their heydays.
But the likes of Carmi Martin, Jojo Alejar and Chuckie Dreyfus won't have it any other way. For them who all had the time of their lives back in the 80s, the atmosphere then, though primitive as compared today, was more exciting they'd rather think it the other way around.
That they were luckier.
"The 80s was one of the best times to have lived talaga kahit panget ang buhok noon," Dreyfus mused while conversing with former That's Entertainment group mate Alejar.
All about 80s
The two stood side by side as they hosted an 80s themed party threw by National Geographic Channel in connection to the upcoming series "The 80s: The Time Of Our Lives" to be premiered on May 20 at 10 pm.
Both were members of That's Entertainment's Wednesday Group that also included now-character actors Romnick Sarmenta and Sheryl Cruz.

Angelee, bested 46 other candidates during the coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, May 19.
Asked what criterion she would add in the usual list of qualities expected of a pageant winner, Angelee said that “a good heart to take care of the environment for ourselves and future generations” is a must.
Joining Angelee in the winners’ circle are Kimverlyn Suiza of Nagcarlan, Laguna (Miss Philippines Air), Nancy Leonard of Zamboanga City (Miss Philippines Water), Alma Cabasal of of Fil. West Coast, USA (Miss Philippines Fire) and Bernadette Mae Aguirre of Sta. Maria, Bulacan (Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism).
This year’s candidates came from across the nation and Filipino communities abroad.

Alternative rock band Nada Surf is set perform in Manila this Saturday as part of a highly anticipated music festival comprising of international bands and selected local acts.
"It's our first time there and we'll make the most out of it," shares Nada Surf's lead vocalist Matthew Caws in a phoner with Yahoo! Philippines OMG!
Together with bands like Temper Trap, Neon Trees, Colour Coding, Avalanche City and Tully on Tully, the New York-based alternative act will play at the first Wanderland Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, May 18, at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds in Makati City.
Local acts Up Dharma Down and Taken By Cars are also on the bill.

Karylle plays the title role and Christian Bautista is Prince Charming in Resorts World Manila’s production of the classic fairy tale “Cinderella,” which premieres in October.
"My kiss is gonna be longer and I put that in the contract," said Christian in jest, referring to previous intimate moments on stage moments opposite Karylle..
Karylle and Christian acted opposite each other in Ballet Philippines' Rama Hari last year. They also represented the Philippines in the TV musical drama series “The Kitchen Musical” in 2011.
